Granny Apple Crisp

Preparation:  15 min. Cooking: 30 min. Total: 45 min.
  • 4 Tbsp old fashioned oats , chopped
  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 3 tsp all purpose flour
  • 3 tsp unsalted butter , melted
  • 4 Tbsp frozen unsweetened apple juice concentrate , thawed
  • 1 1/4 Lb Granny Smith apples , cored and cut into .5 in. thick slices
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
Preheat oven to 400 ℉. Combine oats, brown sugar, and flour in a small bowl. Add butter and half the apple juice concentrate. Mix thoroughly and set aside. Combine apples, cinnamon and nutmeg in a bowl. Add remaining apple concentrate and toss. Transfer apples to a shallow baking pan. Sprinkle oat mixture over apples. Bake 30-35 minutes or until top is brown.
